Our program of care helps people balance their personal health triangle, explains Dr. Stephen A. Pisker, the director of the well­ness center. The health care team at Pisker Family Chiropractic and Wellness Center includes Dr. Stephen A. Pisker, D.C., Dr. Jason Pagliarini, D.C., Mrs. Nicole Saul, and Karen S. Pisker M.S. Dr. Pisker is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from Los Angeles Chiropractic College in Whittier California. He has been serving the Swedesboro/ Woolwich area and surrounding communities for over 15 years.

Dr. Pagliarini has recently joined the expanding practice. He is a graduate of Palmer Chiropractic College in Port Orange, Florida. Mrs. Nicole Saul has been patient care coordinator for the past three and half years. Karen Pisker received her Masters Degree in Human Resources from Drexel University. She is involved in administration and public relations. The doctors routinely attend post graduate conferences and seminars to learn the most current advances in the areas of chiropractic, biomechanics, reha­bilitation, nutrition and energy medicine.

Pisker Family Chiropractic and Wellness Center recently moved into a new State of the Art Facility in Swedesboro. Some of the innovative tech­nology utilized at the wellness center includes the Erchonia PL 5000 Cold Laser therapy. This healing laser is proven to decrease pain, inflam­mation, and accelerate the heal­ing process by up to 40 percent. The Erchonia Laser is endorsed by Major League Baseball and is used by many professional sports teams and world class athletes including the Philadelphia Eagles, Seventy Sixers, Lance Armstrong and Tiger Woods.

Computer generated digital weight bearing foot scans are an integral part of the structural evaluation. This technology helps our doctors evaluate your postural health by creating a digital image of your weight distribution in each foot. Many people suffer injuries to their ankles, knees, hips and back or have chronic pain problems because the weight distribution in their feet is out of balance. Treatment for this problem is cus­tom orthotics. This approach is very beneficial for those individu­als who spend a lot of time on their feet. This includes kids who participate in youth sports, teach­ers, and nurses.

The doctors also pro­vide light force adjust­ing techniques including the Activator Methods Technique and the Variable Speed Adjustor. These adjusting techniques are suited especially well for children and seniors.

Our wellness center also treats children with learning disorders including ADD and ADHD. Dr. Pisker is a certified provider of Interactive Metronome, a computer assisted neurologi­cal assessment and treatment program which improves cogni­tive function and motor skills. It also decreases impulsivity. It has a lot of research behind it and is an important part of our treatment for kids with learning or coordi­nation problems.

We see a lot of patients who have had back surgery or have chronic pain syndromes explains Dr. Pagliarini. “One of our spe­cialties is an evaluation and release of the connective tissue (fascia) tightness throughout the body”. It is not uncommon to relieve a person’s chronic headaches or car­pal tunnel syndrome by releasing the fascia in a distant but related part of the body.

One of the corner stones of their wellness programs is the Erchonia EB Pro Ionizing foot­bath. This 23 minute long foot bath has been proven to remove heavy metals and toxins from your body.
